Holland America Revises Zaandam’s 2026 South Pacific Voyage
The 35-day sailing will skip Fanning Island, change several port schedules and include onboard credit for guests.

Holland America Line has confirmed itinerary changes for Zaandam’s 35-day Legendary Hawaii, Tahiti & Marquesas voyage, which is scheduled to depart San Diego on October 15, 2026.
The ship’s October 29 visit to Tabuaeran, Kiribati, also known as Fanning Island, has been canceled. Holland America said Zaandam will require adjustments to its planned operating speed during portions of the cruise, but the company has not publicly connected those changes to any specific technical problem.
The cruise line has also reversed the scheduled calls at Raiatea and Bora Bora so Zaandam will be the only ship in each port during its visit. Additional time has been added to the calls at Kahului and Moorea. Guests will receive a $100 non-refundable onboard credit in connection with the revisions.
