Holland America plans Pan Am-themed 2027 voyage aboard Zuiderdam
The 28-day roundtrip sailing from Miami will draw on the airline’s Clipper era through onboard programming, menus and specially developed tours.

Holland America Line has announced a Pan Am 100th Anniversary Legendary Voyage scheduled to depart Miami on Oct. 30, 2027. The 28-day Zuiderdam cruise will sail roundtrip from Miami and retrace portions of the airline’s historic routes through the Caribbean and Central America.
According to the cruise line, onboard programming will examine Pan Am’s history through presentations and activities involving aviation experts and historians. Zuiderdam will also feature experiences inspired by the atmosphere and hospitality of Pan Am’s former Clipper Club airport lounges.
Dining plans include special menus influenced by dishes served during Pan Am’s celebrated travel era. A separate cocktail menu will reinterpret flavors and traditions associated with the airline’s legacy.
Holland America said several exclusive shore excursions have been developed around historic routes, regional landmarks and cultural experiences. In Cartagena, Colombia, a planned Pan Am-themed tour will take guests through the city in classic roadsters, include local food and provide information about Cartagena’s emerald trade during the Pan Am era.
