Holland America plans Pan Am centennial voyage for 2027
The 28-day sailing from Miami will combine Caribbean and Central American ports with aviation history, themed dining and onboard talks.

Holland America Line plans to mark Pan Am’s 100th anniversary with a Legendary Voyage departing Miami, Florida, on Oct. 30, 2027. The 28-day cruise is scheduled to retrace portions of the airline’s historic routes through the Caribbean and Central America.
The onboard program will feature aviation historians, Pan Am-themed dining experiences and a recreation of the Clipper Club, based on the private airport lounges associated with the airline.
Special menus will draw on dishes that may have been served on Pan Am flights. Planned selections include cocktail de crevettes with jumbo shrimp, boiled egg, asparagus and Louis dressing; broiled filet mignon Maître d’Hôtel; and Grand Marnier soufflé with crème anglaise.
Speakers are expected to include Linda Freire, chair and co-founder of the Pan Am Museum Foundation, and David Kliman, a former Pan Am pilot. Their presentations will focus on the airline’s history and culture.
The itinerary will also offer Pan Am-inspired excursions during visits to Cartagena, Colombia; Colón, Panama; St. John’s, Antigua; and Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.
