Holland America Plans 80th Alaska Season in 2027
Six ships will operate from Seattle, Vancouver and Whittier between April and September, with a new Inside Passage itinerary and returning extended voyages.

Holland America Line is preparing to mark 80 years of Alaska operations during its 2027 season. The company plans to deploy Eurodam, Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, Westerdam and Zaandam from April through September, with departures from Seattle, Vancouver and Whittier.
A new eight-day Alaska Inside Passage cruise will sail roundtrip from Vancouver, visiting Glacier Bay, Skagway, Ketchikan and Prince Rupert. Noordam will also operate a seven-day Great Bear Rainforest itinerary combining Alaska wildlife viewing with the coastal terrain of British Columbia. Zaandam is scheduled for two 18-day Great Bear Rainforest & Alaska Explorer sailings covering both regions.
The 28-day Legendary Alaska Arctic Circle Solstice voyage is set to return for a third year aboard Noordam. Departing Seattle roundtrip on June 6, 2027, the itinerary is timed to the summer solstice and will sail into the Bering Sea and Arctic Circle.
Holland America also plans upgrades at its Denali Lodge. The work is expected to include two new guest buildings adding 72 rooms, redesigned interiors and public areas in the Main Lodge, and renovations to the Grizzly Grind coffee shop.
