Holland America opens five post-refit Oosterdam sailings
The ship’s new itineraries will connect the Mediterranean and Caribbean beginning in October 2027.

Holland America Line has opened bookings for five Oosterdam cruises scheduled after the ship undergoes its Holland America Evolution refurbishment. The company describes the program as the largest fleet investment in its 153-year history.
Oosterdam’s first planned sailing after the work is a 10-day Adriatic itinerary departing Civitavecchia, the port for Rome, on October 31, 2027, and ending in Trieste, Italy.
Four subsequent voyages will move the ship from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean. An 11-day cruise will sail from Trieste to Piraeus, the port for Athens, on November 10, followed by a seven-day Piraeus-to-Barcelona itinerary on November 21. A 13-day crossing from Barcelona to Fort Lauderdale is scheduled for November 28, and an 11-day round-trip Caribbean cruise from Fort Lauderdale will depart December 11.
According to Holland America, the refurbished ship will introduce Solo Verandahs for individual travelers, forward-facing Bridgeview Suites with panoramic views, Vista Suites and an updated Pinnacle Suite. Planned public-space additions include the Grand Dutch Café and a redesigned Ocean Bar, incorporating concepts found aboard the line’s Pinnacle-class ships.
