Holland America Opens 2028 Canada and New England Bookings
Zuiderdam and Volendam will operate voyages from May through October, with departures from five North American ports.
Holland America Line has opened bookings for its May-to-October 2028 Canada and New England season aboard Zuiderdam and Volendam. Departure ports will include Montréal, Québec City, Boston, New York and Fort Lauderdale.
Volendam is scheduled to operate itineraries linking Montréal, Québec City, Boston and New York. Its program includes a nine-day Montréal-to-New York voyage departing Sept. 30, 2028, as well as two round-trip Montréal cruises leaving May 27 and Aug. 29. Ports on the round-trip itineraries include Baie-Comeau and Havre-Saint-Pierre in Québec, plus Corner Brook, St. Anthony and St. John’s in Newfoundland. Volendam will also offer a 14-day Atlantic and Colonial New England sailing from Fort Lauderdale to Montréal.
Zuiderdam will operate seven-day cruises connecting Boston with Montréal or Québec City. Scheduled calls include Prince Edward Island and the Nova Scotia ports of Sydney and Halifax. Holland America said additions aboard Zuiderdam include purpose-built Solo Verandah staterooms, forward-facing Bridgeview Suites and the Dutch-inspired Grand Dutch Cafe.
