Holland America opens 2028 Alaska cruise bookings
The program features six ships, voyages of seven to 18 days and new scenic cruising through Nootka Sound.

Holland America Line has opened bookings for its 2028 Alaska schedule, continuing a regional presence spanning more than 80 years. The program includes cruises aboard Oosterdam, Noordam, Eurodam, Koningsdam, Westerdam and Zaandam.
Sailings will operate roundtrip from Seattle and Vancouver, between Vancouver and Whittier, and on a new route from San Diego to Vancouver. The 11-day California to Alaska: Shores, Fjords & Glaciers voyage aboard Zaandam will depart from San Diego and visit Glacier Bay National Park, Juneau, Ketchikan, Wrangell, Klawock and Prince Rupert, British Columbia.
The cruise line will also introduce itineraries with scenic cruising through Nootka Sound. Selected 14-day Great Alaska Explorer and 18-day Great Bear Rainforest & Alaska Explorer voyages will transit the waterway on the west coast of Vancouver Island.
Oosterdam will be the first Alaska-based ship to feature Holland America Evolution, which the company describes as the largest investment in its 153-year history.
