Holland America Line to Add Arcadia in 2029
The Vista Class ship will increase the cruise line’s fleet to 12 vessels and add capacity for more than 2,000 guests.

Holland America Line plans to expand its fleet to 12 ships in 2029 with the addition of Arcadia from P&O Cruises. The move is expected to increase Holland America’s capacity by more than 2,000 guests while providing added flexibility for its global deployment.
Arcadia is built on the same Vista Class platform as four existing Holland America ships: Oosterdam, Noordam, Westerdam and Zuiderdam. Further information about Arcadia’s future itineraries and design is due to be released in the coming months.
As Arcadia moves to Holland America, P&O Cruises is set to welcome Queen Anne. The 3,000-passenger ship is scheduled to undergo extensive design changes in 2029 to align it with the P&O Cruises fleet.
