Holland America Line Adds Four Production Shows to Oosterdam
The cruise line’s new stage lineup includes Broadway-inspired, popular music and disco-themed productions created by longtime partner RWS Global.
Holland America Line has introduced four production shows aboard Oosterdam. The lineup comprises Fosse and Verdon, the Duet That Changed Broadway; All Access: The Songs That Shaped Us; Decadence; and Disco Fever.
The cruise line assigned longtime partner RWS Global to create the productions. Fosse and Verdon focuses on the Broadway partnership behind works including Damn Yankees, while the titles of the other shows reflect programs centered on influential songs, decadence and disco.
According to Holland America Line, all four productions premiered aboard Oosterdam during the summer and are also planned for Koningsdam. Fosse and Verdon has a separate history on that ship: the company said the show debuted aboard Koningsdam the previous year before joining the group of four new Oosterdam productions. The remaining shows are expected to extend the new lineup to Koningsdam as part of the planned rollout.
