Holland America details redesigned Ocean Bar planned for Oosterdam
The refreshed venue will introduce a new layout, Art Deco-inspired styling and an expanded entertainment lineup under the Holland America Evolution program.
Holland America Line has revealed plans to redesign the Ocean Bar aboard Oosterdam through its broader Holland America Evolution program. The cruise line has scheduled Oosterdam to become the first ship to undergo the program’s larger Evolution transformation.
According to Holland America Line, the refreshed Ocean Bar will feature a new stage, a relocated bar and redesigned seating. The company said the venue’s Art Deco-inspired design will draw influence from the golden age of ocean travel.
Entertainment at the Ocean Bar is also set to expand as part of the planned changes. Holland America Line’s announced lineup includes Vivace Strings, solo performers and pianists, along with late-night cabaret. The redesigned performance area, updated seating arrangement and repositioned bar are all elements of the Ocean Bar plan revealed for Oosterdam.
