Holland America advances Oosterdam transformation, adds five sailings
The revised 2027 schedule includes Mediterranean, Atlantic and Caribbean voyages after the ship’s work in Marseille.

Holland America Line has moved Oosterdam’s Evolution transformation forward by five weeks, citing demand for cruises aboard the reimagined ship. The schedule change adds five voyages across the Mediterranean, Atlantic and Caribbean.
The work will take place in Marseille, France. Oosterdam is now scheduled to resume service Oct. 31, 2027, on a 10-day cruise from Civitavecchia, Italy, to Trieste, Italy.
Four more cruises are planned: an 11-day sailing from Trieste to Piraeus departing Nov. 10; a seven-day voyage from Piraeus to Barcelona leaving Nov. 21; a 13-day transatlantic crossing from Barcelona to Fort Lauderdale departing Nov. 28; and an 11-day Caribbean roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale beginning Dec. 11.
Previously published voyages scheduled between Sept. 11 and Dec. 9, 2027, have been canceled. Holland America said it is contacting affected guests and travel advisors directly about rebooking options. Travelers booked on the previously planned inaugural cruise and the first December 2027 transatlantic sailing may transfer to the corresponding newly scheduled voyages.
