Holland America advances Oosterdam refit and adds five sailings
The revised 2027 schedule includes new Mediterranean, transatlantic and Caribbean itineraries following the ship’s Marseille refurbishment.

Holland America Line has moved Oosterdam’s Holland America Evolution refurbishment five weeks earlier than previously planned, allowing the company to add five voyages across the Mediterranean, Atlantic and Caribbean.
The work will take place in Marseille, France. Oosterdam is scheduled to resume service Oct. 31, 2027, on a 10-day cruise from Civitavecchia, the port for Rome, to Trieste, Italy.
The other additions are an 11-day Mediterranean sailing from Trieste to Piraeus, departing Nov. 10; a seven-day voyage from Piraeus to Barcelona, departing Nov. 21; a 13-day transatlantic crossing from Barcelona to Fort Lauderdale, leaving Nov. 28; and an 11-day roundtrip Caribbean itinerary from Fort Lauderdale, departing Dec. 11. Holland America said the new cruises were expected to open for sale in early October.
To accommodate the accelerated refurbishment, the cruise line canceled several previously announced Oosterdam voyages scheduled between Sept. 11 and Dec. 9, 2027. Holland America said it was contacting affected guests and travel advisors directly with rebooking options.
