Harmony of the Seas begins year-round Port Canaveral deployment
The Royal Caribbean ship is scheduled to offer cruises ranging from two nights to one week following a major European refit.
Port Canaveral said Harmony of the Seas returned to Central Florida in early August to begin year-round operations. Its planned schedule includes two-day getaways, four- and five-day voyages, and week-long cruises.
According to the port, every sailing will visit Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean’s private island destination in the Bahamas. The cruise line’s published deployment schedule currently shows the vessel operating from its Florida homeport through April 2028.
Before arriving back at Port Canaveral, the 2016-built ship underwent a major revitalization at a European shipyard under Royal Caribbean’s Royal Amplified refit program. The work added venues to its public areas, including Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade.
The project also introduced nearly 100 staterooms in areas that had previously housed technical and public facilities.
Harmony of the Seas joins three other Royal Caribbean vessels sailing from Port Canaveral: Star of the Seas, Utopia of the Seas and Adventure of the Seas.
