Ha Long Bay light show features 72 cruise ships
The programme combined illuminated vessels, sound performances and onboard fireworks on a circular route through the heritage site.

A fleet of 72 cruise ships took part in a light and sound programme on Ha Long Bay, with onboard fireworks adding to the nighttime display.
Following the opening ceremony, the vessels travelled in formation from Bai Tho Bridge to Cot 5 Beach before returning to their starting area, completing a circular route.
The cruise ship light show was presented as a new nighttime tourism and entertainment product intended to broaden how visitors can experience the World Heritage Site after dark.
Residents and visitors can join the journey through the heritage site, sample local cuisine and watch the light, sound and fireworks displays against the nighttime setting of the bay.
