Grand Princess set for Sydney homeport season
The ship’s planned program includes regional sailings and a 79-day Circle Pacific voyage.

Grand Princess is scheduled to arrive in Sydney on November 3 for a dedicated homeport season, with itineraries planned across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific. The ship is also due to operate a 79-day Circle Pacific sailing visiting Hawaii, Japan and Alaska.
A recent onboard account detailed a week aboard Grand Princess during an 11-day Denali Explorer Cruisetour. The land component included stays at Princess lodges in Fairbanks, Denali and Mt. McKinley, while the cruise called at Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan.
Activities during those port visits included a journey on the White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad from Skagway, whale watching from Juneau, and time exploring Creek Street in Ketchikan before a wilderness fishing excursion with Baranof Excursions.
On board, Grand Princess features a full wrap-around promenade deck. The traveler used the Princess Premier Package, which combined Wi-Fi, drinks, specialty dining and gratuities. The onboard account also described the Chef’s Table as accommodating about 12 guests per seating, with an additional charge ranging from $90 to $155 per person.
