Galaxy Gaming completes first phase of MSC Cruises casino system rollout
The deployment covers 30 blackjack tables on seven MSC Cruises ships operating in North America.
Galaxy Gaming said it has completed the first phase of a Galaxy Operating System deployment across MSC Cruises’ North American fleet. According to the gaming technology company, the installation introduces the first progressive table game jackpot system aboard MSC Cruises vessels.
The initial rollout encompasses 30 blackjack tables across seven ships, using a customized version of the Galaxy Operating System to provide a progressive jackpot experience. Galaxy Gaming said MSC Cruises chose the platform after assessing its performance, guest experience, flexibility and service capabilities.
Greg Stewart, Galaxy Gaming’s vice president of global sales, said the deployment followed nearly two years of collaboration between the companies. Galaxy Gaming described the system as a scalable platform designed to accommodate potential future expansion across the MSC Cruises fleet.
