Former Royal Caribbean Ship Majesty Listed for $40 Million
The nearly 74,000-gross-ton former Majesty of the Seas is being offered for sale after leaving Royal Caribbean’s fleet in 2020.

Majesty, the cruise ship formerly operated by Royal Caribbean as Majesty of the Seas, has been listed for sale on YachtWorld for $40 million. The vessel has 13 decks, a maximum capacity of 2,767 passengers and was last refurbished in 2016, according to the listing.
The ship sailed for Royal Caribbean from April 1992 until March 2020. The cruise line removed it from its fleet later in 2020 during the industry shutdown and sold it to Seajets, a Greek ferry company with 29 vessels. Seajets subsequently shortened the ship’s name to Majesty.
Majesty of the Seas was Royal Caribbean’s final Sovereign-class ship, according to the report. It is also described as the only vessel from that class that has not been scrapped.
