Former employee sues Princess Cruises over 2025 termination
Christina N. Wonders alleges she was dismissed while on approved medical leave; a case management conference is set for January 2027.

Christina N. Wonders has filed a lawsuit against Princess Cruises Lines Ltd., alleging the company wrongfully terminated her in February 2025 from a role managing youth programs while she was on approved medical leave.
According to the complaint in Los Angeles Superior Court, Wonders was told she was being dismissed because of undocumented absences and a failure to engage with the company. She disputes those reasons, alleging that her leave had been approved.
The lawsuit also alleges that Wonders experienced stress after a supervisor assigned her an excessive workload, including multiple trips to Italy connected to construction issues involving Sun Princess.
Wonders brings claims including disability discrimination, whistleblower retaliation, harassment and intentional infliction of emotional distress. She is seeking unspecified compensatory and punitive damages. The allegations have not been adjudicated.
A Princess Cruises representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Judge Marisa Hernandez-Stern has scheduled a case management conference for Jan. 11, 2027.
