Five luxury cruise ship orders to add more than 3,000 berths
New vessels for Four Seasons, Crystal, Viking and SeaDream Yacht Club are scheduled to enter service between 2029 and 2034.

Five luxury ships ordered since July are set to add more than 3,000 berths to the upscale cruise market through 2034, according to industry orderbook data cited in the report.
Four Seasons ordered its third vessel in early July. The 190-guest ship is planned for construction at Fincantieri’s Ancona yard and delivery in 2031. The company did not confirm further newbuild details, although the vessel is expected to share the design of Four Seasons I and Four Seasons II.
Crystal subsequently finalized a contract option with Fincantieri for a ship to be built at Marghera. The vessel will be a sister to Crystal Grace and is scheduled to begin service in 2034. Viking also exercised Fincantieri options under a deal initially announced in April 2025, adding two 988-guest ships for delivery in 2032.
SeaDream Yacht Club, meanwhile, announced SeaDream III as its first newbuild. Expected to be constructed at China Merchants shipyard, the 230-passenger vessel is planned to debut in 2029. SeaDream said the ship will expand its destination range to include the Great Lakes while introducing more suites and enlarged spa, fitness and wellness offerings.
