First-time cruisers detail four-night Voyager of the Seas sailing
The Royal Caribbean itinerary traveled from Brisbane to Airlie Beach, with one port call in the Whitsundays.

A traveler and his wife took their first cruise aboard Royal Caribbean’s Voyager of the Seas, choosing a four-night sailing from Brisbane to Airlie Beach. The couple stayed in a balcony cabin on deck seven and reported being pleased with its size, arrangement and cleanliness.
According to the traveler, three dining venues were included: the main dining room, Cafe Promenade and the Windjammer buffet. The couple also visited three of the ship’s four paid specialty restaurants—Chop’s Grille, Izumi and Giovanni’s Table.
The traveler counted 10 bars and lounges aboard the ship. He said the couple preferred High Notes on deck 14 because it was less crowded than more accessible venues and offered expansive views. He also described the Solarium as a quiet, adults-only area with a pool, bar and lounge seating.
The itinerary featured a single port day at Airlie Beach in the Whitsundays. Royal Caribbean also offered optional paid extras and activities, according to the account, including champagne and strawberries, cabin decorations, sushi-making sessions, whisky tastings and wine tastings.
