First-Time Cruiser Wanted Longer Port Visits on Wonder of the Seas

A seven-night Royal Caribbean voyage in 2022 provided about seven hours at each of four destinations, according to the traveler’s account.

A traveler’s first cruise, a seven-night sailing aboard Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas in 2022, included calls at four Caribbean destinations. The itinerary visited Roatan in Honduras, Cozumel and Costa Maya in Mexico, and Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas.

Perfect Day at CocoCay is Royal Caribbean’s private island. According to the traveler, passengers had approximately seven hours to explore during each port call across the itinerary.

The traveler said the allotted time provided only a limited introduction to each destination. In particular, the visits to the first two ports, Roatan and Cozumel, left the traveler wishing there had been more time available to explore. No similar concern was specified for Costa Maya or Perfect Day at CocoCay.
