First major Disney Believe section floats out in Germany
The more than 31,000-ton midship block emerged at Meyer Werft with interior infrastructure and key atrium features already in place.

The first major section of Disney Believe has floated out at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. Weighing more than 31,000 tons, the block already includes installed walls, plumbing and electrical wiring.
The midship section houses the Grand Hall, the ship’s central atrium. The space draws on Polynesian architectural influences and features a statue of Moana. Lifeboat davits have also been mounted, although the lifeboats have not yet been installed.
Two more large blocks are planned. The forward section will contain the main show theater and lounges, while the aft section will include two rotational dining restaurants.
Disney Believe is a Wish-class vessel, joining the same ship family as Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny. It is scheduled to begin sailing in late 2027, but Disney has not announced a homeport or itineraries.
Dates also remain unannounced for the float-outs of the remaining two blocks, the joining of all three sections and the subsequent float-out of the assembled hull.
