Eight Majestic Princess crew members reportedly removed in Boston
The unconfirmed report comes as U.S. Customs and Border Protection says a broader operation has resulted in 87 cruise crew removals in Boston since mid-August.

Eight Majestic Princess crew members were reportedly removed from the ship at the Port of Boston, according to information published by the social media page Buhay Sa Cruise Ship.
The group was reportedly made up of seven Filipino nationals and one Indian national. Officials were said to have boarded the vessel with a list of names, identified the listed crew members and taken them into custody.
No reason for the reported removals was disclosed, and the information has not been independently confirmed.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection separately announced that Operation Tidal Wave had led to 87 cruise crew removals in Boston since mid-August. The cases included six Filipino crew members from Norwegian Breakaway who were reportedly processed for removal after an investigation involving child sexual abuse material.
Norwegian Cruise Line has held town hall meetings to address concerns among crew members following the developments.
