Disney Wish to make inaugural Charlottetown call in 2027
The scheduled visit will mark Disney Cruise Line’s first return to Prince Edward Island in a decade.
Disney Wish is scheduled to call at the Port of Charlottetown on Oct. 27, 2027, during a seven-night Canada and New England cruise departing from New York City.
The stop in Prince Edward Island’s capital will be the ship’s first visit to Charlottetown. It will also mark Disney Cruise Line’s first return to the Island since Oct. 25, 2017.
Port Charlottetown CEO Mike Cochrane said 4,000 people are expected for the Oct. 27 call.
The itinerary will follow Disney Wish’s first deployment from New York City. Jose Fernandez, Disney Cruise Line’s vice-president of port strategy, development and operations, said the ship’s New York debut represents a new chapter for the cruise line.
