Disney Treasure to test wearable shipboard ID wristbands
The trial is planned for the ship’s October 10, 2026 Eastern Caribbean departure from Port Canaveral.

Disney Cruise Line plans to test wearable Key to the World wristbands aboard Disney Treasure during its October 10, 2026 sailing.
Passengers who already have DisneyBand+ will have those devices activated during check-in. Guests without DisneyBand+ will instead be issued a wearable Key to the World wristband through the check-in process.
According to Disney Cruise Line, the limited test does not mean the company is making a full transition from its traditional Key to the World cards. The trial wristbands will function only during the designated Disney Treasure cruise and cannot be used for other Disney experiences, unlike reusable DisneyBand+ devices.
After the cruise, guests are expected to place the test wristbands in collection containers outside the Disney Cruise Line terminal for recycling. The cruise line had not indicated whether passengers could decline participation or request a standard card instead.
The seven-night Halloween on the High Seas voyage will depart Port Canaveral for the Eastern Caribbean, with scheduled visits to Tortola, St. Thomas and Castaway Cay. Disney Treasure is due to return to Florida on October 17.
