Disney Magic to Return to Galveston for 2027-28 Season
The Texas program will include Caribbean and Bahamas cruises, along with Panama Canal repositioning voyages.
Disney Cruise Line has announced that Disney Magic will return to Galveston for a season running from November 2027 through March 2028. The ship, which has operated seasonally from the Texas port since 2012, is scheduled to offer Very Merrytime holiday cruises to the Bahamas during the deployment.
The program will also feature four- and five-night Western Caribbean itineraries visiting Cozumel and Progreso in Mexico. A limited number of weeklong voyages will sail to Disney’s Bahamian destinations, Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point and Castaway Cay.
Disney Magic will open and close the Galveston season with 14-day repositioning cruises between Galveston and San Diego via the Panama Canal Zone. Disney Cruise Line said the voyages will include the ship’s first calls at Fuerte Amador, serving Panama City, in November and Colon in March. The ship will return to California after the March sailing.
Castaway Club members may begin booking the newly released itineraries on Aug. 31. Reservations for the general public are scheduled to open 24 hours later.
