Disney Dream sail-away celebration set for Liverpool in September 2026
The ship will pause in the river near the Pier Head before continuing its journey.
Disney Cruise Line will return to Liverpool Cruise Port on Wednesday 9 September 2026 for a celebration marking Disney Dream’s visit to the city.
Music at the Pier Head will begin at approximately six in the evening. Disney Dream is scheduled to depart one hour later.
After leaving the cruise berth, the ship will travel a short distance before holding its position briefly in the middle of the river, directly in front of the Pier Head. The planned sail-away moment will take place there before Disney Dream continues its journey.
Weather permitting, the celebration will include a brief fireworks finale. Spectators are encouraged to gather at the Pier Head for the best vantage point rather than Princes Parade, which has been a popular viewing location for previous departures.
There will be no public access to Disney Dream at any time during the visit. Only passengers will be permitted aboard.
