Disney Dream Liverpool departure to feature fireworks finale
The ship is scheduled to leave Liverpool Cruise Port at 6.45pm before holding position near the Pier Head for a brief sail-away event.

Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Dream is due to return to Liverpool Cruise Port during the early hours of Wednesday, September 9, with its departure scheduled for 6.45pm. A fireworks display has been announced to mark the ship’s sail-away from the city.
After leaving the cruise port, Disney Dream is planned to travel a short distance and hold position in the middle of the river, directly in front of the Pier Head. Disney-themed music and a brief fireworks finale are scheduled to begin at 7pm as part of the departure event.
Spectators are being encouraged to gather at the Pier Head for the best view, rather than Princes Parade, which has previously been used as a viewing location for ship departures. Members of the public will not be allowed to board Disney Dream.
Road closures and diversions are also planned while the vessel is berthed alongside Liverpool Cruise Port.
