Disney Dream hosts Make-A-Wish Ireland families in Cork
More than 30 wish children and their families attended the organizations' first gathering of its kind during the ship's visit.

Disney Cruise Line and Make-A-Wish Ireland welcomed more than 30 wish children and their families during Disney Dream's visit to Cork, marking their first gathering of wish families.
The experience began with a welcome celebration before participants boarded the ship. Children met Joy and Sadness from the Disney and Pixar film Inside Out and received Disney wish wands.
Aboard Disney Dream, each wish child received a personalized greeting in the atrium. The group then attended brunch at Royal Palace with Disney Princesses Cinderella, Rapunzel, Tiana and Belle.
Other activities included themed arts and crafts, a visit with Stitch in Disney's Oceaneer Club and a silent disco with Mickey Mouse and friends. Each child also received keepsakes, including plush toys, pins, autograph books and other souvenirs. Dozens of Disney Dream crew members participated in the event.
According to Disney, its collaboration with Make-A-Wish has continued for more than 45 years and has granted over 175,000 wishes for children with critical illnesses worldwide. Disney Cruise Line says it has granted nearly 6,000 wishes globally since 2010.
