Disney Dream brings about 4,000 passengers to Portland
The Disney Cruise Line ship made a daylong call in Dorset as part of a British Isles itinerary.

Disney Dream arrived at Portland Port on Sunday morning with around 4,000 passengers aboard. The ship docked at 8.45am and departed at about 6.45pm for Southampton.
Portland Port said many guests were expected to spend the visit exploring attractions and businesses across Dorset. Planned excursions included destinations around the county, while passengers could also visit local shops, pubs and cafés.
The call formed part of an itinerary featuring destinations around the British Isles and was one of several cruise-ship visits scheduled for Portland during the month.
Port officials have estimated that cruise passengers contribute about £10 million each year to the wider regional economy. Disney Dream, operated by Disney Cruise Line, entered service in 2011.
