Disney Destiny’s Adults-Only Spaces Draw Crowds After 2025 Debut
The ship offers nine adults-only venues, though one passenger reported that several bars were too small for demand.
Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Destiny, which began sailing in November 2025, accommodates more than 4,000 passengers across more than 1,200 staterooms. A passenger who spent four nights aboard for her 32nd birthday reported that the ship rarely felt overwhelming overall.
The vessel has nine adults-only spaces, including cocktail bars, specialty restaurants, a spa and the Quiet Cove pool. However, the passenger, who previously worked as a performer aboard Disney Wonder, said several bar areas appeared undersized for the level of demand. She described the Haunted Mansion Parlor, Cask and Cannon and The Rose as similarly crowded.
Walt Disney Imagineering representatives Sara Pepper and Madeline Weber said children’s clubs aboard Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny were placed in more centralized locations near adults-only areas. According to the representatives, the arrangement was intended to let different age groups pursue separate activities while remaining connected onboard.
Pepper and Weber also said De Vil’s was deliberately created as an intimate, luxurious and elevated venue inspired by Cruella’s personality.
