Disney Cruise Line to Test Wristbands on Disney Treasure Sailing
The October 10, 2026, cruise will replace traditional Key to the World cards with wearable access devices for guests who do not have DisneyBand+.

Disney Cruise Line plans to test wearable wristbands aboard the Disney Treasure sailing departing October 10, 2026. According to an email the cruise line sent to travel advisors with clients booked on the voyage, the devices will be issued during check-in at the cruise terminal.
Passengers who already own a DisneyBand+ can continue using it, with activation completed during check-in. Those without one will receive a wearable Key to the World wristband rather than the traditional card that is normally placed outside their stateroom.
The Key to the World wristbands provided for the trial will function only during that specific cruise and cannot be used for other Disney experiences. Guests will also be required to return the devices at the end of the sailing.
Disney Cruise Line has confirmed the test only for the October 10 Disney Treasure departure. The company has not announced additional trials or plans to introduce the wristbands across its fleet.
