Disney Cruise Line Teases New Announcement With Latitude Puzzle
Six latitude readings appear to point toward cruise ports and destinations as Disney promotes its Summer 2027 itineraries.
Disney Cruise Line has teased a new announcement by posting six latitude readings on its official Instagram account. The company told followers to return the next day for further news.
The listed readings were 40° 46.3′ N, 18° 27′ N, 29° 18.2′ N, 32° 43.3′ N, 26° 5.4′ N and 28° 24′ N. Because Disney did not provide corresponding longitudes, the locations cannot be determined from the post alone.
One published interpretation linked the latitudes to New York City, San Juan, Galveston, San Diego, Fort Lauderdale and Port Canaveral, with possible facilities including the Manhattan Cruise Terminal, San Juan’s cruise terminals, the Port of Galveston, San Diego’s B Street Pier and Port Everglades. Another analysis associated 26° 5.4′ N with Disney Castaway Cay in The Bahamas. It also noted that the latitude near Bermuda crosses San Diego, where Disney Cruise Line and the Port of San Diego recently extended their sailing agreement through 2031.
Disney’s website is already promoting new Summer 2027 itineraries, although the company has not yet detailed what the teased announcement will cover. A previous announcement identified Moana as the central theme and statue for the Grand Hall aboard Disney Believe.
