Disney Cruise Line previews Disney Believe details after keel-laying milestone
An official reveal is planned to cover the ship’s homeport, itineraries, themed spaces and entertainment.
Disney Cruise Line is preparing an official Disney Believe reveal with details about the ship’s future operations and onboard offerings. The planned presentation will announce its homeport and itineraries, along with themed venues and entertainment.
Trent Hitchcock has been introduced as Disney Believe’s opening cruise director. The introduction formed part of a scavenger hunt that offered early hints about the vessel. Separate porthole puzzles in the activity pointed to new food and beverage items planned for the ship, though specific offerings were not included in the available details.
Construction has also reached a maritime milestone at Germany’s Meyer Werft Shipyard, where Disney Believe carries hull designation 723. The ship’s team recently held its keel-laying ceremony, marking progress on the build.
As part of the ceremony, a specially made coin depicting Tinker Bell was welded to the ship’s keel block. The team said the placement followed a longstanding maritime tradition intended to bring good fortune to a vessel and its future crew.
