Disney Cruise Line plans return to Manhattan next fall
Disney Wish will offer seven voyages from Manhattan to Bermuda, Canada and New England, ending a gap in Disney sailings from the terminal since 2023.
Disney Cruise Line has announced plans to resume departures from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal next fall, marking its first sailings from Manhattan since 2023. Disney Wish is scheduled to operate seven cruises between late September and early November, with itineraries lasting four to seven nights.
The planned destinations include Bermuda, Canada and New England. Other regional cruise operations include Cunard’s Queen Mary 2, which uses Brooklyn as its home port for regular trans-Atlantic crossings to Southampton, England.
Royal Caribbean sails year-round from Cape Liberty to Bermuda, the Bahamas and the Caribbean, while Celebrity Cruises operates seasonal voyages from the terminal to Bermuda, Canada and New England.
Philadelphia also gained a year-round cruise option after PhilaPort’s permanent cruise terminal opened earlier in the month. Norwegian Cruise Line is the only line sailing from Philadelphia, offering Bahamas and Caribbean voyages. Norwegian Jewel currently serves the area, with Norwegian Pearl scheduled to take over later this year. In Baltimore, Royal Caribbean and Carnival both operate year-round from the Cruise Maryland Terminal.
