Disney Cruise Line maps fleet growth through 2030
Disney Believe will debut in December 2027, while three smaller vessels are scheduled to join the expanding fleet between 2029 and 2030.

Disney Cruise Line plans to introduce Disney Believe, its fourth Wish-class ship, in December 2027. The vessel’s maiden voyage is scheduled to leave Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale on Dec. 18, followed by four- and five-night cruises to the Caribbean and the Bahamas.
The company is also designing a smaller class of ships as it works toward a 13-vessel fleet by 2030. Disney has ordered three ships in the still-unnamed class, each expected to measure about 100,000 gross tons and accommodate roughly 3,000 guests.
The vessels are currently designated Ship 11, Ship 12 and Ship 13. They are scheduled to arrive in 2029, late 2029 and late 2030, respectively. Tracy Wilson, Disney Cruise Line’s senior vice president and general manager of operations, said the smaller design is expected to provide greater flexibility in where the company can sail.
Elsewhere in the fleet, Disney Wish is scheduled to operate seven New York sailings in fall 2027, marking the cruise line’s first return to the city since 2023. Wilson said Disney Magic and Disney Wonder will remain in service for the near future.
The expansion follows Disney’s acquisition of the unfinished Global Dream, which it converted into Disney Adventure. The ship began sailing from Singapore in March 2026.
