Disney Cruise Line limits coffee card rewards to one sailing
Passengers must now purchase five specialty coffees and claim the complimentary sixth drink during the same cruise.
Disney Cruise Line has changed the terms of its coffee cards, which award customers a complimentary sixth specialty coffee after they purchase five eligible drinks and collect the corresponding stamps.
Previously, unfinished cards could be retained and used on later Disney cruises, including aboard a different ship. That allowed passengers who did not buy five specialty coffees during one sailing to continue working toward the reward on a subsequent voyage.
A coffee card recently obtained aboard Disney Wish included new language stating that it could not be transferred between passengers or cruises. According to the account, a Disney cast member confirmed that the restriction was a new change.
The reward structure itself remains in place, but all five qualifying purchases and the free sixth specialty coffee must now be completed within a single cruise.
