Disney Cruise Line introduces reusable cups aboard Disney Fantasy
Paper cups at poolside self-service drink stations and clear plastic cups in Cabanas are being replaced with reusable alternatives.
Disney Cruise Line is phasing out paper cups at poolside self-service beverage stations in favor of reusable plastic drinkware. The reusable cups are available aboard Disney Fantasy.
At the pool stations, the new cups are plain white and have a double-walled design. According to the cruise line’s reported changes, they are suitable for serving both hot and cold drinks.
Cabanas has also begun using stackable white reusable cups. These replace the venue’s larger transparent reusable cups, which resembled glassware and incorporated hidden Mickey designs.
The drinkware update does not remove every hidden Mickey cup from service. Smaller versions remain available at Cabanas juice stations, alongside ceramic mugs intended for coffee. The confirmed rollout applies to Disney Fantasy, where both the poolside cups and the replacement cups in Cabanas have been introduced.
