Disney Cruise Line expands placeholder discounts through September 2027
Eligible onboard future-cruise reservations can receive savings of up to 25% on select voyages.
Disney Cruise Line expanded its placeholder reservation offer on Sept. 22, making select sailings through September 2027 eligible for discounts of up to 25% off the voyage fare.
Guests sailing aboard a Disney ship can secure a placeholder for a future cruise by paying $250 per stateroom for as many as two staterooms. They then have 24 months to choose a sailing. The deposit is fully refundable if it is not used.
According to the reported discount list, select voyages aboard Disney Dream, Disney Destiny, Disney Magic, Disney Treasure, Disney Wish and Disney Wonder qualify for the offer. A 20% discount applies to select dates on Disney Adventure, Disney Destiny, Disney Fantasy, Disney Magic, Disney Treasure and Disney Wonder. Other eligible sailings retain the standard 10% discount.
Disney’s terms state that a higher discount will be added automatically if an existing placeholder booking later becomes eligible. When the cruise has already been paid in full, the fare difference is returned to the original payment card.
Travelers may also transfer a placeholder to another sailing through the My Reservations section online, by contacting Disney Cruise Line or through a travel agent.
