Disney Cruise Line Expands Fleet With More Ships Planned Through 2031
Disney Believe is scheduled to join the growing fleet in late 2027, with additional ships planned for 2029, 2030 and 2031.

Disney Cruise Line has expanded from four ships to eight in recent years and plans further additions through 2031. Disney Believe, now under construction, is scheduled to debut in late 2027 as the fourth Wish Class vessel. Other ships are planned for 2029, 2030 and 2031.
According to Disney, Disney Believe will have a theme centered on believing in something fantastical. The company says characters from Moana and Toy Story will be among those featured aboard the ship.
The expansion follows the debuts of Disney Wish in 2022, Disney Treasure in 2024 and Disney Destiny in 2025. Disney Adventure sails from Singapore and has no departures from the United States.
Disney Cruise Line began sailing with Disney Magic in 1998 and Disney Wonder in 1999. Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy currently homeport in Fort Lauderdale or Port Canaveral. The two ships primarily operate Caribbean cruises, with some European options also available.
