Disney Believe reaches keel-laying milestone in Germany
The Disney Cruise Line ship is scheduled to begin sailing in late 2027.

Disney Believe has reached the keel-laying stage at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany, marking a major step in the vessel’s construction.
The keel-laying ceremony was held September 29, 2026, following the float-out of the ship’s first gigablock in mid-September. Work was also underway on a second gigablock as the large sections that will form the vessel continued to come together.
A commemorative coin created for the ceremony features Tinker Bell. The character is also planned to appear in artwork decorating the bow of the completed ship.
Disney Cruise Line has scheduled Disney Believe to begin sailing in late 2027. According to Disney, the ship will introduce venues and entertainment drawing inspiration from Encanto, Frozen, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Moana, and The Little Mermaid.
