Disney Believe reaches keel-laying milestone in Germany
Disney Cruise Line has revealed the ship’s first gigablock as construction continues toward its planned fleet debut in late 2027.

Disney Believe has reached its official keel-laying ceremony at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. Disney Cruise Line also revealed the vessel’s first gigablock, while work on a second gigablock was underway.
A custom-minted coin bearing an image of Tinker Bell was used during the keel-laying ceremony. According to Disney Cruise Line, the portrait reflects the Tinker Bell artwork planned for the bow of the completed ship.
The cruise line said Disney Believe is scheduled to enter its fleet in late 2027. Plans for the vessel include elements inspired by several Disney Animation stories, including Encanto, Frozen, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Moana and The Little Mermaid.
