Disney Believe reaches construction milestone in Germany
The fourth Wish-class ship is planned to begin sailing in late 2027, though its home port and itineraries remain unannounced.

Construction of Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Believe has reached a milestone at Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany, where the first of three gigablocks was completed and floated out of the shipyard. The section forms the vessel’s midship area and includes the Grand Hall. The forward gigablock is scheduled to be built next, followed by the aft section.
Disney says the Grand Hall will draw its theme from the Moana films and center on a bronze statue depicting Moana with Pua and Heihei. Planned stern artwork will feature Woody and Buzz Lightyear from the Toy Story films using large yellow crayons to write the ship’s name across the back of the vessel.
The cruise line plans for Disney Believe to enter service in late 2027 with venues and entertainment influenced by Encanto, Frozen, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Moana and The Little Mermaid. Disney has not announced where the ship will be based or which itineraries it will operate. Disney Believe is identified as the fourth Wish-class vessel, following Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny.
