Disney Believe reaches construction milestone ahead of 2027 fleet debut
The future Disney Cruise Line ship’s first major hull section has been completed and floated out at the shipyard.

Disney Cruise Line says Disney Believe is expected to join its fleet in 2027. The vessel is identified as the cruise line’s ninth ship and fourth Wish Class ship.
Construction has advanced with the completion and float-out of the first of three gigablocks at the shipyard. The finished block forms the ship’s midship section and includes the Great Hall. According to the report, the forward gigablock is due to be completed next, followed by the aft section.
Disney has also disclosed several character features planned for the vessel. Moana will be depicted in the atrium statue, while Tinker Bell will appear on the bow. The stern artwork will show Buzz and Woody coloring the ship’s name.
Entertainment properties expected to be represented across Disney Believe include Encanto, Frozen, Snow White, Moana and The Little Mermaid, along with Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars.
