Disney Believe design will feature Moana, Toy Story and other films
Disney says the new ship will draw its venues, entertainment and exterior artwork from several animated stories and characters.
Disney Believe will feature venues and entertainment shaped by Encanto, Frozen, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Moana and The Little Mermaid, according to Disney. The company says the ship is being developed around a theme of promise and possibilities.
Moana will be represented in the Grand Hall through a bronze statue depicting the wayfinder looking toward the horizon. The artwork will also include her companions Pua and Heihei.
On the exterior, Tinker Bell will appear in the artwork on the bow. Peter Pan, Wendy, Captain Hook and other characters will join her in the surrounding filigree.
The stern will depict Woody and Buzz Lightyear using oversized yellow crayons to draw the Disney Believe name. Its block lettering will be styled after Toy Story, replacing the script generally used by Disney Cruise Line.
Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny share the same physical blueprint, according to the supplied account. Disney Imagineers have adapted familiar spaces aboard those ships to fit each vessel's overarching story.
