Disney and San Diego extend homeport agreement through at least 2031
The partnership is expected to approximately double Disney Cruise Line’s annual departures from the California port.
Disney Cruise Line and the Port of San Diego have extended their homeport agreement through at least 2031. More than 1 million Disney passengers are anticipated to pass through the port over the course of the agreement.
Under the terms, Disney will receive non-exclusive priority access to the North and South berths at the B Street cruise terminal. The arrangement marks the first time in more than 20 years that a cruise line has provided the Port of San Diego with a minimum annual guarantee.
Two Disney ships are scheduled to serve San Diego during the 2026-2027 season. Disney Magic is due to arrive in October for three- to seven-night voyages through November, followed by a 14-night Panama Canal transit to Galveston.
Disney Wonder is scheduled to homeport in San Diego from October 2026 through April 2027. It will operate three- to seven-night itineraries that include Catalina Island, Cabo San Lucas, Ensenada and Puerto Vallarta.
Disney Cruise Line began sailing from San Diego in 2012. The cruise line currently has eight ships in its fleet and expects to add five more by late 2030.
