Cruise video of child looking toward Cuba gains TikTok attention

Daniel Pulido posted the 58-second clip in mid-July, and it accumulated more than 35,500 views.

A video filmed aboard a cruise ship shows a child pointing toward the horizon and telling his father to look at Cuba. As the child tries to locate the island between the sea and sky, the song Patria y Vida plays in the background.

Daniel Pulido shared the video on TikTok in mid-July. The post received more than 35,500 views, 3,294 likes and 227 shares.

The report states that cruise ships arriving from the United States have been prohibited from stopping in Cuba since June 2019.

The report also describes similar social media posts. It says a TikTok video posted by @bisbelis near Havana in May 2026 received more than 261,000 views. In that video, the user wanted to get close enough for their mother to see Cuba. According to the report, a Cuban aboard Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas shared similar images in October of the same year.
