Cruise stocks fall as oil prices rise following U.S. strikes on Iran
Royal Caribbean, Viking, Lindblad, Carnival and Norwegian shares closed lower Monday as crude prices climbed and U.S. markets declined.

Cruise shares fell Monday after U.S. strikes on Iran pushed crude oil prices higher and U.S. markets lower, according to the report. It attributed months of volatility in cruise stocks to changing oil prices associated with the intermittent Iran war.
Royal Caribbean closed at $268.74, down 3.82%, while Viking finished at $86.14, a decline of 2.67%. Lindblad Expeditions Holdings fell 10.24% to $26.56. Carnival Corp. ended at $23.89, down 3.51%, and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings closed at $16.14, a decrease of 3.06%.
Walt Disney Co., identified as the parent of Disney Cruise Line, settled at $107.55, down 0.51%. The report did not include Disney in its cruise-stock list because the company is not exclusively a cruise business.
The report listed Royal Caribbean’s range at $232.10 to $362.79. Its shares reached a high of nearly $363 on Sept. 5, 2025. Viking’s listed range was $56.37 to $110.09. Viking went public on May 1, 2024, pricing its shares at $24 before debuting at $26.15.
