Two men returning from a Royal Caribbean cruise reportedly found hundreds of baby spiders crawling on their car in a parking area at Royal Caribbean’s Cruise Terminal 10 in Galveston, Texas.
Uber driver Donnie Broussard said he picked up the travelers, who were described as Lubbock residents believed to be in their 20s, after they discovered the spiderlings. According to Broussard, he then drove the men to a nearby Walmart so they could purchase pesticide.
Broussard also said several other cruise passengers had reported finding spiders on vehicles parked in the same area a few weeks earlier. No additional details were provided about those reports.
The Port of Galveston, identified as the operator of parking lots around Cruise Terminal 10, was contacted for comment.
