Cruise lines refine 2027 pricing and booking strategies
Royal Caribbean, Carnival Corporation and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings are emphasizing earlier demand and price management.

Royal Caribbean management said early 2027 bookings were pacing ahead of historical levels, with higher prices and elevated booked load factors. Its AI-driven pricing models manage roughly $20 million and growing price points to help optimize revenue rather than simply fill cabins.
Royal Caribbean also said Points Choice and Status Match generated more than half a million new loyalty enrollments. More than 90% of guests use the company’s app, and over half of onboard revenue is purchased before embarkation. Geopolitical disruptions have affected some European itineraries.
Hero of the Seas is scheduled for delivery in the third quarter of 2027. Celebrity Compass is expected to enter service in the second quarter, followed by Celebrity Seeker in the third quarter.
Carnival Corporation said it was already about half booked for the year, with record occupancy and pricing. The company expects modest capacity growth in 2027.
Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings is moving to a baseloading strategy intended to establish competitive pricing earlier in the booking curve, build demand sooner, preserve price integrity and reduce close-in discounting.
